You may also get a blue warning window stating that ‘Windows Protected you PC’– just click on more info and then click run anyway- this will pop up just once. Once your server config is complete you can run your server, double click bedrock_server and you should see a command prompt window open showing something like below, if it pops up and closes right away you don’t have the Visual C++ installed.
You can also change the seed of the level etc. Basically you’ll change a couple lines to tell the server what difficulty, and what style of game-Survival or Creative. To get started in configuring your server I would suggest reading the ‘bedrock_server_how_to file in the server directory- this file tells you exactly what all of the options do in your server.properties file. Server.properties file- double click this file and you may need to tell Windows to open it with Notepad.bedrock_server.exe – the file you’ll execute to start the server.
